1. I know this is a bit dated, but it’s a great essay about an innovative concept in immigration policy.  The number of entrepreneurs that I know that struggle with visa issues is staggering - the U.S. is the best place in the world to start a company, but these founders basically have to dodge customs to get and stay here.  I know of one in particular who was deported, and is now banned from the U.S. visa waiver program for the rest of his life.

    By definition, these guys are not taking jobs from Americans - if anything, they are creating new ones!  America’s economy thrives upon innovation… if people want to bring that here, why are we stopping them?
